What’s going to happen at the Minnesota Legislature this year?

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton and Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party and Republican Party leaders from the House and Senate were scheduled to answer questions from media across the state from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The annual pre-session briefing is hosted by Forum Communications and moderated by Forum News Service’s Capitol reporter Don Davis.

Expected to join Dayton, a DFLer, were House Speaker Kurt Daudt, R-Crown; Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka, R-Nisswa; House Minority Leader Melissa Hortman, DFL-Brooklyn Park; and Senate Minority Leader Tom Bakk, DFL-Cook.
