Reports: Kirk Cousins set to sign with Vikings tomorrow

The Vikings are going to have an exciting offense in 2018.

Vikings fans can prepare to watch Kirk Cousins slinging passes all over the field to Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen next season.

According to WCCO's Mark Rosen, Cousins will sign with the Vikings for $28 million a year when the official signing period opens Wednesday afternoon. Rosen did not say how many years the contract is for or if the deal is fully guaranteed.

If you don't believe Rosen, then you might be more easily convinced by Xavier Rhodes.

On Monday, Cousins wrote a goodbye blog to Redskins fans and accidentally tagged it with the "Vikings" and "Jets," only to later delete the tags.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport says it's a three-year contract and that it's not over the line quite yet, but if his visit to Minnesota goes well on Wednesday, it could be all she wrote.

 Brees staying in New Orleans

Like we said, Brees coming to Minnesota was a pipe dream from the start, regardless of reports Monday saying the Vikings had contacted his agent.
