The Twin Cities franchise of the Bacon and Beer Classic is coming this weekend to CHS Field in Lowertown St. Paul.
The event Saturday will offer more than 100 craft beers from Lift Bridge Brewery, 612 Brew, and Yoerg Brewing, Bent Brewstillery and other regional breweries. And local chefs will bring in bacon dishes from restaurants including Holman’s Table, Parlour St. Paul, Public Kitchen + Bar, Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lodge, Stray Dog and more.
General admission tickets, at $49, let you sample unlimited bacon dishes and beer, and you can wander the concourse and the baseball field filled with music and lawn games. Entry times are 1 and 6 p.m. The $69 package lets you in an hour earlier — noon or 5 p.m. VIP tickets ($89) include the early entry plus access to the Securian Club overlooking the field and a doughnut wall.
In addition to all that beer, you can take a blind beer taste test, bob for bacon strips and more.
