  • What qualifies you to hold this position? I ask for your vote because I have a diverse experience as small business owner, former local elected official and current state representative. This experience makes me better able to serve the people our district. My ability to work with people to achieve goals in an open, public and active manner is an asset that gets results.
  • What would your top priorities be if elected? Local infrastructure efforts are Robert Street payment, inflow & infiltration and transportation investments like transit, local roads, bicycle & pedestrian improvements. I am a leader in clean water protection, pollinators & outdoor recreation issues. Student debt relief, education levy & debt equalization & pre-K funding are critical.
  • What do you think is the primary role of government? Minnesota Constitution Article 1., “Government is instituted for the security, benefit and protection of the people, in whom all political power is inherent, together with the right to alter, modify or reform government whenever required by the public good.”
