Free yoga sessions offered at Union Depot

It’s not too much of a stretch to see the massive arched area inside St. Paul’s Union Depot as a good spot to roll out a mat and do some yoga.

Professional instructors from Studio 9-to-5, a local mobile wellness company, are offering free yoga sessions in the waiting room at Union Depot. The Saturday morning classes move outdoors to the North Plaza when the weather warms up.

The free yoga classes offered include:

  • Yoga Sculpt on Monday nights from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Yoga Flow on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m.
  • Yoga on Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m.

The all-levels Saturday class attracts around 60 people each week.

A partnership with Studio 9-to-5 at Union Depot, the free yoga classes began in 2013. Reservations are not required. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat, water and towel if needed.
