Paul Barry’s Harmonica Bash returns Friday to Wilebski’s Blues Saloon

San Francisco-based blues harpist and vocalist Big Harp George is the featured guest performer for the third annual Paul Barry’s Harmonica Bash on Friday at the Blues Saloon.

One of the few harp blowers who primarily features chromatic harp, BHG’s 2014 debut album “Chromaticism” was nominated for several blues awards. He was also named one of 15 rising harmonica stars by Living Blues magazine.

Other harmonicists performing will be Paul Barry, Hurricane Harold Tremblay, Everett Smithson and Steve Vonderharr. The backup band will feature guitarist Jeremy Johnson, keyboardist Tim Wick, bassist Bill Black and drummer Victor Spann.
