Fans may have had mixed feelings about Thor's storyline in Avengers: Endgame, but Chris Hemsworth seemed to enjoy the change in character quite a bit. The 35-year-old actor stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 12 and talked about his transition into an emotionally and physically distressed Thor - and how Johnny Cash helped him tap into that feeling.

Hemsworth revealed that in between takes on the Endgame set, he would go back to his trailer and play Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt" on the guitar to stay in character. Hey, it's "the saddest song in the world," after all. Watch the clip above to see Hemsworth strum the tune out on the guitar, all dressed up as the Asgardian god himself. We wouldn't mind a full Avengers family band, TBH.
