Man found dead on river bike bath in Minneapolis; another body found on railroad bridge

A man was found dead Monday night on a bike path in Minneapolis. Just hours later, another body was found a railroad bridge in the city.

Officers on patrol spotted the first man lying in the bike path in the 200 block of West River Parkway at about 11:50 p.m. He was not breathing and did not have a heartbeat. Officers started CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Police say the body suffered trauma.

The second body was found Tuesday morning. Police received a 911 call about a person down on a railroad bridge near 16th Avenue Northeast and Marshall Street Northeast
