Police: Teen has life-threatening injuries after being shot in face in St. Paul

A teenager was critically injured after someone shot him in St. Paul on Tuesday, police said.

He was shot in the face in the North End just after 6 p.m., according to preliminary information from police.

Police are investigating what led to the shooting in the area of Park Street and Wheelock Parkway, said Steve Linders, a St. Paul police spokesman. There were no immediate arrests.

The teen was at Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but was in stable condition as of Tuesday night, Linders said.
