Updated COVID-19 cases in lakes-area, January 20: state reports 1,237 new infections, including 34 new COVID-related deaths

On Wednesday, Jan. 20, Minnesota reported an additional 1,237 COVID-19 cases, totaling 449,492 for the entire pandemic, and 34 additional deaths, totaling 5,979 for the entire pandemic. Becker County reported 14 new cases, including 80 active infections, totaling 2,862 cases since the pandemic began.
