Updated COVID-19 cases in lakes-area, January 22: state reports 1,525 new infections, including 21 new COVID-related deaths

On Friday, Jan. 22, Minnesota reported an additional 1,525 COVID-19 cases, totaling 452,268 for the entire pandemic, and 21 additional deaths, totaling 6,032 for the entire pandemic. Becker County reported 11 new cases, including 88 active infections, totaling 2,880 cases since the pandemic began.
