Minnesota 16-year-old nearly died from rare condition linked to COVID-19

Caleb Laurent, a sophomore at Alexandria Area High School, was recently diagnosed with MIS-C, a multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children. It is a rare condition where different body parts can become inflamed, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes or gastrointestinal organs.
