Stillwater: Lakeview Hospital president to step down

Ted Wegleitner, president of Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, is stepping down this summer.

Wegleitner, who has been president of the hospital since 2014, announced Monday that he plans to retire on July 2.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to work with the tremendous team at Lakeview Hospital,” Wegleitner said in a prepared statement. “Together, we’ve built a strong, collaborative and caring culture that puts our patients first. I know that Lakeview is positioned well for the future.”

Wegleitner worked with HealthPartners for 34 years. Prior to becoming president of Lakeview, he served as president and chief operating officer of TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Bloomington.
