Fall Flower Show in bloom – and in two parts this year – at Como Conservatory

The Fall Flower Show in the Sunken Garden at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Park Zoo is open now and will feature a mid-show change on Nov. 6.

The first half of the show (through Oct. 31) features a variety of chrysanthemums and fall flower favorites in a yellow and silver palette, according to a Como news release, with dwarf sunflowers, marigolds, ornamental peppers and pumpkins-on-a-stick.

The second half of the Fall Flower Show (Nov. 6-28) will be equal parts orange, yellow and white.

The Sunken Garden will be closed Nov. 1-5 for the change-over, but the rest of the conservatory will remain open.

The Fall Flower Show is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations and facemasks are required. According to the news release, the tradition of the annual Fall Flower Show began in 1915 when the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory first opened. The Conservatory hosts five seasonal flower shows each year.
